Socks
Socks are just one of those articles of clothing that seems to have a great number of variations in their designs, but still hold true to some of their most basic purposes. For instance, they were originally made to help protect the feet dry and for colder regions, they were also made to keep the feet warm. These are fundamental purposes that are still present in those that are manufactured today. Of course not all are meant to keep the feet warm, they do provide at least some ability to do so in general.
The many variations of socks can be quite amazing if you were to look at all of them next to each other. Most people do not even realize that there are so many small differences between some of them. Of course there are some major designs as well that one pair of socks may have that another pair does not have.
