Rubber Flooring
Rubber flooring is an available option for those people that need to get a flooring choice that is very durable and yet comfortable to walk on. Harder flooring surfaces can be durable, but not very comfortable and while vinyl may be comfortable and someone durable, it is certainly not as durable as rubber. The soft walking surface of this type of flooring makes it great for places where there is a lot of heavy foot traffic such as in museums, malls, retail stores, and hospitals.
Rubber flooring also comes in a few varieties to really help out in certain areas such as the electrostatic discharge type of rubber that is made specifically for rooms that need to remove or reduce static electricity. Sensitive equipment can be easily damaged by static electricity if people are not careful. Rubber flooring is also great for places where slipping can be common as this type of flooring is very slip resistant.
